The Age of Monsters

The so called "Age of Monsters" as a volatile, violent time when primitive monstrous pantheons and their children held bloody dominion over Aosha. The world was filled with incessant violence to terrifying scale as the beasts and monstrosities that inhabited the planet warred over territory and resources. The early sentient races were preyed upon freely and had no hope of creating fortifications or civilizations. Deities made frequent short term alliances in the interests of their children, and broke them as swiftly as was convenient. It was an age characterized by betryal, brutality and fear.
