----- Tactics ----- The Sun's Wrath (Offense): Unlike passive healers, Zyanya is dangerous.

  • Round 1: She casts Blessing of Fervor (The "Cleric Haste") to buff the party.
  • Solar Flare: She uses her 6th-level slot for Cold Ice Strike (re-flavored as pure light/heat) to deal 14d6 damage as a Swift Action line attack, while still casting a standard spell.
  • Sunbeam: Against undead or light-sensitive foes, she uses Sunbeam to blind them permanently (Reflex DC 25).

The Sun's Mercy (Defense):

  • Massive Burst: If the party is low, she uses Quick Channel (Move Action, 11d6 healing) + Channel Energy (Standard Action, 11d6 healing). Total: 22d6 (avg 77) healing in one round.
  • Combat Healer: If she is grappled or needs to move, she can cast Heal or Breath of Life as a Swift Action (2/day). This is nearly impossible to counter.
  • Merciful Healing: If the party is hit by a Stinking Cloud (Nauseated), she channels energy to instantly remove the Nauseated condition from everyone.

Key Ability Explanations

  • Merciful Healer Archetype: This makes her the ultimate "clericbot" healer. She loses a second domain but gains the ability to remove status effects (Nauseated, Sickened, etc.) for free when she channels. This is often more valuable than HP healing in high-level play.
  • Combat Healer: This is her "Oh no" button. Twice a day, she can cast a Cure spell (up to Cure Critical) as a swift action.
  • Phylactery of Positive Channeling: This item boosts her Channel Energy from 7d6 to 9d6.
