Sentient Minor Artifact: "Sorrow"

This scimitar is forged from a stygian metal that absorbs light. It hums a dirge that only Elara can hear.

Base Stats: +4 Black Blade Scimitar (Int 14, Wis 10, Cha 10, Ego 14). Alignment: Lawful Neutral. Special Abilities (Standard Black Blade):

• Unbreakable: The blade cannot be broken.
• Energy Attunement: Can replace weapon damage with Fire/Cold/Elec/Sonic for 1 point.
• Transfer Arcana: Wielder can siphon Arcane Points from the blade (Blade has 4 points/day).

Artifact Powers (The "Sorrow" Aspect):

• Touch of Melancholy: Any creature struck by Sorrow must make a DC 19 Will Save or be overcome with crushing grief, functioning as the Crushing Despair spell (-2 attacks, saves, damage) for 1d4 rounds. This is a mind-affecting emotion effect.
• The Final Tear: On a confirmed critical hit, Sorrow casts Enervation on the target (Free Action). The target gains 1d4 negative levels. (This makes Elara's crits terrifyingly lethal).
• Communication: Sorrow speaks telepathically to Elara, constantly urging her to end the suffering of living things—by killing them.
